Made up of parents and their three daughters, La famille LeBlanc performs 19th-century tunes deeply rooted in Acadian and Celtic traditions — musical treasures often unknown to other Celtic nations such as Ireland, Scotland, and Brittany. The daughters play the concertina, whistle, and fiddle, and also compose original pieces inspired by tradition, creating a vibrant dialogue between heritage and innovation. The mother lends her voice to the oldest Acadian ballads, interwoven with her daughters’ in rich and sensitive harmonies, where generations respond to one another through music. The father, a multi-instrumentalist, accompanies on piano with arrangements that blend baroque, jazz, and traditional music.
